Lights On Afterschool
Each October, one million Americans and more than 7,500 communities nationwide celebrate the afterschool programs that keep kids safe, inspire them to learn and help working families. Visit www.afterschoolalliance.org for more information.
What is it?
- A National day of advocacy sponsored by Afterschool Alliance.
- A FREE opportunity to let your program and students shine
- An event to collaborate with other Charlotte area afterschool programs to promote your program to local media, local government, and your community
Where is it?
- UNCC Center City Building, 320 East 9th Street, Charlotte, NC 28202
- Parking on the corner of 11th and Brevard, for $3. Loading area available in the driveway, accessible from Brevard Street. You may also park in the County Services building parking lot on College for free.
What time?
- From 4-7pm- you can start setting up at 3, and pack up before 7:15.
